No no, I don't mean people on the news, events of idiot people otherwhere in the nation, I'm talking people you come in contact with during the regular day. They're just rude.I would agree with you. The thing I ask is if we are just noticing this now because we're adults? When we're younger, we are so self consumed it's more difficult to make observations. When you become an adult then suddenly you see things differently (some of us, not all.) Is it our perspective or are people simply more "dickish" these days?
The Missus and I had a similar discussion over dinner the other night. We both think that people seem to look more trashy now, manners are gone, there really is no shame etc. It's no doubt change has occurred, but I've also changed. Likewise my friend and I pretty much touched the same subject last night.
I think the fact that there is so much information (internet, cable TV) available now compared to even a few years ago that everything tends to get amplified and noticed more, without necessarily existing more. I honestly don't think things are worse, for example both the UK and USA (especially the younger generations) seems overall more tolerant about race, sexuality etc than 20-30 years ago. Maybe if a lot of your input comes from cable news/opinion shows and City Data then that colors your view of everything?

I know what you meant, just saying one's attitude/observation of the local world might be colored by their experience of the tv/internet world. Probably your satisfaction with your own life plays some role too.
I really don't see a difference, people are basically decent in my experience, no more or less so than before.

fAGGOT PUSSY, NTHIS IIS MURDER
You're not allowed to say the "F" word ever again. I'm serious, I mean it.
I agree with that sentiment. It is offensive.
Cousin, I can see that the bunker's full again, but I don't get why nearly every post contains the word "fag" or "faggot".
