Sounds like it coulda been on And Justice For All.

Sister burn the temple
And stand beneath the moon
The sound of the ocean is dead
It's just the echo of the blood in your head

I was thinking it had similar tones to Damage Inc.    I hope they go on tour.  I haven't seen them live since 2009.

 I hear Kill 'Em All.

Why do you read that kind of crap, Art? Seriously, I don't get it.

Yeah, I'd go see them again.  Hope it's not with Lamb of God, this time.  Something a little more mainstream metal.

Have been a fan since Kill 'Em All came out. Saw them in 2012 at the VooDoo Music Fest here in NOLA. Originally Green Day was headlining that night but one of them went to rehab or something and they had to cancel. Metallica was able to come in at the last minute and it was great.

^ Have seen them on several tours prior to that -- even caught their opening for Ozzy with Clif Burton on bass -- but 2012 was a good show.

I dont get the comparisons to St Anger or Death Magnetic coming from some people but at this point its trendy to shit on Metallica. Its a damn good song. Freedom hears Justice and with different production I could imagine it in there as well. With the song as is, I could easily imagine it on Reload.

I'm hoping the album has at least a few killer deep cuts. Been eons since getting to enjoy a killer Metallica album.

The more I listen to it the more I think it has a "Justice" feel to it.  Freedom hit the head on the nail.  I just have to ask did Kirk leave the band, cause the song lacks any kind of solo.  I just hope this doesn't turn out to be another turd like St Anger.  I wasn't that impressed with Death Magnetic either.

Eh, not as good as Hardwired but better than Lords of Summer.  Low expectations for this album, but I pre-ordered it on vinyl.  Haven't really cared for a Metallica album since Reload, and nothing has been great since the Black Album.  Wish they'd just tour with their first 4 albums and 3-5 songs they've written since then.

I agree on all counts.
