The rankings are a reference to La Cosa Nostra. A consigliere reports to the underboss.

EDIT: Oops, I got it wrong. A consigliere is a confidant of the boss.

More or less a consigliere while a bosses confidant is usually well schooled in law, the inner workings of crews and families and political figures and at times, is not included in many sit downs so to keep the families power if the boss is incarcerated.....It can be complicated or very simple???

well..as you know I have a way with the 'knob'....turned out pretty damn good, pretty proud of myself for that and using that poly-filler junk to fix the holes and dents the kid punched in the door...looks really good! and thanks to Sman's terminology, I affixed the 'faceplate' tightly with a better, longer screw...yes, I know how that sounds..and I like it...anyhoo, screwed it flush and now it shuts perfectly...I had a tense couple of moments when I first finished, I thought I put the key lock on the inside of the door...the knobs had a plastic cover on them to protect the polished finish...so by luck, after peeling off the plastic the right sides were where they belonged! My project tomorrow is re-caulking the bathtub.....not sure what is going on with all the caulk and knobs but I like it!

Good for you...I refuse to re caulk again and I'm having it done so I can call them back when it falls apart again. I'm kind of annoyed that both bathtubs have to be redone w/i a decade! I mean bad! The mud and caulk guy blew moose dick when I redid the house. I should have done it myself.

Make sure when you cut the tube, you cut only the very end tip. Otherwise, you will have a mess. Use a coat hanger, or wire to puncture the seal as a nail won't be long enough to reach to the base of the spout.

Apply the bead, and smooth it down with your finger. It helps if you keep your finger damp with a wet cloth.
