I wasn't drawn to buy Cubs World Series tickets. Clearly this was rigged by crooked Hillary and the media!

I'm going to my first MLB playoff game tonight - Yankees vs Twins at YS.
Went to one in 2008....most electric atmosphere I've ever seen.

Yeah, I've only been to regular season games before. Hard to put into words how different this was - helped the Yankees won 8-2 of course, but people were intent on every single pitch. And so loud.

It's totally charged. Not like where you show up and 1/3 of seats are empty at the start due to late arrivals and concessions...seats full, everyone yelling for every pitch.
Saw Cubs-Dodgers in the 2008 NLDS. Cubs were garbage. Look at that line. https://www.baseball...200810020.shtml
But before the game was like 40000 people waiting to explode.

haha. I have tickets for the 3rd home game of ALCS next week, likely Astros game 5 (unless it's 4-0 by then). Imagine that will be even crazier.

How'd you manage that? Really lucky? Or spending exorbitant amounts?

I had a ticket code because I'm a NYCFC season ticket holder who play at Yankee Stadium. We're way up at the back, still expensive - but pretty much same as you'd pay to see a fairly major band at MSG for example.

Cool, I catch NYCFC on the tube occasionally. Their games always look rambunctious. Those and LAFC. I'm really impressed how much MLS has taken off...getting really large crowds some places. Now it we can only convince parents that they'd rather not have braindead, suicidal adult children, maybe we can get a proper level of talent on the national team.
We don't have an MLS team yet...I suppose the hope is that they keep expanding and your "minor league" team gets called up, like Cincinnati last year.

NYCFC is fun but they really need a stadium of their own. Attendance has dropped off this season despite them finishing top of conference, with all the superstars leaving. Ironically we may have to play our first playoff game at CitiField if Yankees still in playoffs by the time of the game I have tickets for. MLS seems to want to expand indefinitely.
