I made a few posts on another GnR forum back during the blow out in the GoM; most of the posters on that forum had totally fucked the science and bought into all that shit about methane volcanoes, great carverns of petroleum about to explode upon the Gulf shores, and the rsultant end of humanity. That is also about the time that I left City-Data; some mod there, threatened me with a suspension for calling someone a "scare monger". Seriously, that is all I wrote. So, I told him that since they encouraged wild speculation and fear mongering, I would no longer be a part of the discussion.

I know a girl (can't stand her) who happened to make a claim for BP for loss of income. She got 4k or so. HOWEVER she was already collecting insurance that covered her in case of injury during that time, which I'm quite certain constitutes fraud. I'd love to make an anonymous phone call, but nah...
