Don't care that much about tennis, but this is insanity.......

John Isner and Nicolas Mahut tore up the record books as their epic first-round contest at Wimbledon became the longest in tennis history. The match was locked at 59-59 in the final set after 10 hours of play when it was suspended because of bad light.

That sounds awful to watch, let alone to be a participant.
Sister burn the temple
And stand beneath the moon
The sound of the ocean is dead
It's just the echo of the blood in your head

Yeah, but it apparently attracted a huge crowd as it dragged on through the day.

Wow. A lot of chaffing.....
You never ask a navy man if he'll have another drink, because it's nobody's goddamned business how much he's had already.

Whoever did the draw for this year was having a laugh - Isner and Mahut drawn together again! I'd say it's unlikely they'll beat their record. One of my favourite bits of trivia is that they played more games in that single match than Serena Williams did in Wimbledon, the US Open, the Australian Open and the French Open combined in the year she did the Grand Slam.
