Another example of some people being too stupid to vote.
Anyone who thinks Gore lost in 2008 is too far out to lunch and not only shouldn't vote but should be nowhere near being able to actually run one of these precincts.
We live in a bat shit crazy world.
At first I thought you were referring to me, and then the white hot ball of rage subsided as I read the rest of your comment.

I watched the entire debate this time.
We're doomed....
It was surreal. It was like being in the twilight zone. At several points I just couldn't believe that these are really our two choices for president.
Neither one of them should be anywhere near the presidency. Trump is a lunatic and Hillary's double talk made me want to vomit.

Any time Donald Trump talks foreign policy it makes me jittery, but what made me very jittery in the debate was his rambling on about Mosul. What did you guys think about it?
I also thought this was an interesting read:

There seems to be a disconnect between the mainstream news coverage, poll numbers, online punditry, etc. and the actual activity on the ground.
Clinton and Kaine just rallied in Pittsburgh this week to a crowd of approximately 3,050 supporters.
Trump just rallied in Virginia Beach this week to a crowd of 12,000 supporters.
Pittsburgh leans Democrat. The turn out there was decidedly paltry for Clinton.
Virginia has been written off by experts as going to the Democrats this election cycle. Trump draws crowds like bees to honey even in states where he is supposed to be losing by double-digits.
Voter enthusiasm accounts for something very important on Election Day - who actually goes to the polls and votes.
If you look at segments of the population who won the last election for Obama (blacks, Hispanics, women, Millennials), the actual enthusiasm levels are down. Strikingly so among blacks and Millennials. Does this mean these key segments are less likely to show up on Election Day? Well, yes.
Whereas if you look at certain segments of the population that supported Romney in 2012, their support for Trump is actually more enthusiastic this cycle. If you recall, the results were only a 51% - 48% split favoring Obama. Does that mean these voters are more likely to show up on Election Day? Well, yes.
Also, the third party candidates who are eating up some percentage points in these current polls generally always perform lower in the actual election. Some of those voters don't bother to vote, while others break for a major party. I am a Libertarian and always break for the Republican candidate.
Based on what I have seen on the ground in a state that the Democrats have already won according to the news coverage, all I can say is Trump supporters are like the KISS army. They wear badges, are shouting it out loud, and are ready to rock n' roll all night
This is how Trump supporters view their candidate:
This is how Clinton supporters view their candidate:
EDIT: I don't think fence sitters and those with low enthusiasm are going to wait in line to vote for 4 - 8 years of Helen Reddy because she is passe and well, basically sucks. However, I do think people will wait in line for hours to vote for Trump because if he wins you can walk around screaming "I wanted the best, and I got the best!!!" :-)

It is all very interesting. If Trump does win it will be with numbers that are too high to rig with a Soros voting machine or other chicanery.
The online activity has been way Trump. I think internal polling is way closer than the Dems and their media want to let on. Why else would they still be trotting out porn stars with groping accusations at this point?
I think Wikileaks is having an impact. The corruption is staggering.
People like the fact that unlike a McCain or Romney, Trump is a street fighter.
I think Trump has more appeal to African-Americans than previous GOP candidates. If enough of them switch or stay home that messes up her calculus in places.
I still think it can go either way but also think the most powerful people are working against him. If the American people elect Trump it will send shockwaves.
The GOP going forward either way will not be the flaccid party of the Bushes anymore.

I think the most interesting thing about the WikiLeaks is how the Democrats answer questions about them, or rather refuse to answer questions.
They keep claiming that Russian hackers working for the Kremlin are attempting to influence our election. Maybe they are, but that doesn't really matter. Our government does the exact same thing to other countries. The hilarious part is that we all know the emails are true and all of the dirty shit was trying to be kept hidden from the American people. They act as though the big crime is in bringing this vile filth to light instead of the vile filth itself. Great way to divert attention away from the real corruption and collusion.

Assange declared war on Hillary Clinton in 2010. If he really wanted to expose "truth" he would have made public all of the emails, not leaked selected ones to selected news agencies at time he sees fit. He is manipulating the election as much as the media outlets who are picking and choosing which emails to release and when.

I do not think the selective nature or timing of the releases by Assange makes the contents of the emails any less true.
I also do not care who provides me with the truth about my corrupt politicians or what their motivations might be.
Getting the truth is the vital matter, as a corrupt politician will never give it willingly.
