A Wii? It sounded cool and wish I had known someone who owned one so I could try it but I jumped off the Nintendo bandwagon eons ago. After Super Nintendo....they catered their consoles to kids. THey had a few games geared towards adults(I bought a Gamecube just to play Metroid) but I couldn't take it anymore.Poor game selection compared to the other consoles.  I still haven't played that new Mario game released years ago that is supposed to be mind blowing.

Someone should do a modern day update of Gauntlet..one of the greatest games ever made. That game ate quarters like Roseanne Barr eats loose meat sandwiches.

You make a lot of Roseanne references.

It's just the echo of the blood in your head

Nintendo is the kids console. Some adult stuff makes it on their platform but not much. Kids games are usually good though, especially the Marios and Zeldas.

Sony is the adult console. Never owned any Xboxes.

Why do you read that kind of crap, Art? Seriously, I don't get it.

Can you play games solo anymore, or are they all online with other players?

I only play the solo ones. There are still good ones being made but the kids today love that online multi player stuff.

Just finished this one. Very cool. Very cinematic. You play as Norman Reedus' character.

I have been playing Cyberpunk 2077. It's the game that had a disastrous release late last year as it was too expansive to run on older consoles. The developers had to issue refunds and game companies pulled it for sale for older platforms. I have the PS4 pro and while the game is buggy a bit, and does crash to a blue screen every other session, it runs ok and I am digging it. The other game I play a lot Fallout 76 had a similar launch but is now really decent. If the PS5 is ever available in decent quantities I will upgrade as my PS4 version of Cyberpunk comes with a free digital copy of the PS5 version. The PS5 has way more processing power to run the game and render its graphics.

Keanu Reeves plays a character in the game. I am digging these big cinematic games with expansive stories and actor participation. Last year's Death Stranding with The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus was great. The Cyberpunk playable map is gigantic. Set mostly in a huge city like NYC with many different areas. Here is the Cyberpunk trailer:

I like Video games but I'm generally terrible at them. I did just charge up my Oculus Quest after a while - but mainly use it for looking at cool 3d stuff rather than games, and the games I play are usually puzzle games not requiring too much hand-eye coordination.

I like these immersive first person shooters in an open world type games. If you got a PS4 or 5 I could recommend some cool games. These games have difficulty settings so if you are new to these types of games you can still play through.

The Fallout series hits the sweet spots: fifties atomic culture post-apocalyptic humor games. Also played a game in the Metro series which is set in a post apocalyptic Russia. Growing up during the cold war has had an impact.
