Did anyone stick with this? I think the second season is way better than the first, although the 2nd season opener was the weakest so far in the season. It has become a completely unpredictable nail-biter. I think the writers are doing a good job.

I am still watching. I started late and have now caught up after a few marathon sessions. It has plenty of weak writing but there is still enough decent stuff to make me tune in. They are definitely taking more chances this year and have fixed some of the structural weaknesses from the early episodes. As long as it doesn't get like that V show, which I stopped watching near the end of the first season, I'll continue to watch.
Why do you read that kind of crap, Art? Seriously, I don't get it.

It probably will get the axe at the end of the season.

I still have 3 eps to go. It got better but not by much. You are probably safe in not bothering. I hope to see it through. Although it isn't something I jump to watch.

The Event
Fans of the cancelled NBC serial drama "The Event" had hope last week that NBC's sister network, Syfy, was considering producing a miniseries to round off the franchise's storyline and answer questions left lingering in the season finale.

Now Syfy digital exec Craig Engler has Tweeted "To answer some questions I've been getting, at this time we have no plans to pick up The Event." [Source: Abou
