Database of Fox Employees’ Passwords and Emails Leaked

Fox Broadcasting employees might want to change their passwords: A database of about 300 employees and associates' email addresses and passwords, apparently stolen from a Fox.com database, have been leaked by a hacking group that previously stole thousands of X Factor contestants' personal information.

The group Lulz Security has taken credit for the hack. Last night, Lulz Security took over and defaced the LinkedIn accounts of 16 Fox Broadcasting employees and the Twitter accounts of two Fox affiliates, apparently to prove the leak's validity. "Fox News 15 has decided to rape its own face. A sad day for our 25 viewers," read one tweet. They then tweeted a list of emails and passwords, which are mainly employees of Fox Broadcasting and local affiliates of Fox and other networks.

I really need to make an effort to watch Jon Stewart, he so easily makes conservatives & especially Fox News look ridiculous.

It was 37 years ago today that we witnessed the SLA shootout in LA that killed 6 members of the group live on national TV. Back then, shit didn't get broadcast live, but awareness was high over the SLA since the Hearst kidnapping and the robbery of the bank with Hearst as a willing participant. Anyway, 6 people fought to the death that day and died a horrible death when the building was set alight.

RIP all

Did you guys hear about the 13-year old who posted on her facebook that she wished bin Laden had killed her teacher instead of the people in the towers? Yeah, she got a 3-day suspension for that & what do you think the mother's reaction is? What is w/this generation of parents who accept no responsibility & anything that happens to their children, they blame others for? If I had pulled that at 13, my mom would've kicked my ass literally, shut down my facebook page AND taken my computer AND would've fully supported a 3-day suspension.

You had facebook when you were 13?

I just read an article about this:

http://www.dawn.com/...r-13-study.html

http://pressroom.con...tes-terms-.html

WASHINGTON: Some 7.5 million of the 20 million minors who used Facebook in the past year were younger than 13, and a million of them were bullied, harassed or threatened on the site, says a study released Tuesday. Even more troubling, more than five million Facebook users were 10 years old or younger, and they were allowed to use Facebook largely without parental supervision leaving them vulnerable to threats ranging from malware to sexual predators, the State of the Net survey by Consumer Reports found.

Facebook’s terms of service require users to be at least 13 years old but many children, or their parents, get around that rule by giving a false birth date when they sign up for the social networking site.
Parents of kids 10 and younger who use Facebook “seem to be largely unconcerned” by their children’s use of the site, possibly because they think a young child is less vulnerable to Internet risks, the study says.
