Ok, yes. I am. Because I thought it would be interesting to follow a couple of...... certain....musicians. (some people around here might be able to quickly guess). Yes, I do. And then..one thing leads to another thing and pretty soon you're following quite a few things and have a few followers yourself. Although, overall, Twitter is pretty much, as far as I can see, a great place for celebrities or great causes to tweet what they are up to. There are those who use it as somewhat of a chat room, but I don't get that part of it.

Ok, so who here is on Twitter? I caved & signed up ONLY because I need to follow a couple street food vendors in order to find out where they are on a daily basis in the city. Lame, hey? Anyway, I can honestly say I've got nothing interesting to say but I need people to follow & to follow me so I look popular. I have one follower, Lonely Planet, lol.
Why are you following them?

Right now "BarackObama" is twittering the twitter addresses to all the Tea Party people who are standing in the way of a compromise on the debt ceiling. I've already twitted five of them to get behind the compromise and quit jerking the country around.
I'm still not sure I like or completely understand twitter but I just downloaded the Foxfire quick find button so maybe they will hook me yet.

Yeah, I noticed that but I don't really know what to say. And besides, if they're not following you, how will they even see a message to themselves from you? If you put their twitter name at the start of the tweet it will go to them (but not their followers) ex.

Today, it felt good being on Twitter and making my feelings known to a bunch of Tea Party members of the House. I hate that my representative is one of the 22 hard core baggers who wouldn't have voted for raising the debt ceiling no matter what concessions the Democrats might have made. Those people truly do want to destroy the government!
