Interesting facts:
Reducing the income tax on top earners is one of the most inefficient ways to grow the economy according to the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office
44% of Congress people are millionaires. The tax cuts were never meant to be permanent
Letting tax cuts for the top 2% expire as scheduled would pay down the debt by $700 billion over the next 10 years
With 44% of Congress being millionaires, no wonder they are fighting so hard against the idea of the wealthy paying their fair share of taxes!!!

Do they say that raising taxes on the wealthy will improve the economy? Paying down $700 billion over 10 years when the debt is growing at a rate of almost a trillion a year under the current president and congress means nothing. It's a spit in the ocean. How does taxing the wealthy put the middle class back to work? I don't see how it does short of expanding the size of government to recruit more employees. And I don't think that's the solution anyone is asking for.
