Went to the drive in and fell asleep during The Avengers and Battleship. How hard is it to make a movie that doesn't suck giant balls?

I got a drive in.... for some reason the thought of sitting in my car watching a movie doesn't appeal to me.

You have a drive-in? Jealous.
Yup, they're still huge here in Canada. A jolly old hippie runs the one by my place and doesn't give a shit if you drink/smoke or whatever as long as you don't bother the families, so it's always good times. He always calls me Dave Pirner too which is a welcome change from Jesus or Kurt Cobain a half dozen times a day

Going to the theater costs like 15 dollars here; plus drink and popcorn you're damn near over 30 bucks. Then you have to deal with the little assholes kicking your seat and texting or talking on their phones the whole time (who the hell goes to a movie to dick with their phone the whole time? Same odd shit happens at concerts too, though). At the drive in I can see 2-4 movies for less than the price of seeing 1 at the theater, and don't have to put up with little assholes. Plus the food is way better than the theater. Homemade fudge, corn dogs, poutine and cheeseburgers? I'm surprised I haven't needed a flatbed truck to get home yet.

That is actually tragic that you've never gone to a drive-in. Tragic. How can we be the same age & you've experienced so little?I have actually never been to a drive in. We have one here in Tampa in it's a really shit part of town. I wouldn't walk around there at night, much less park my car there and hang out.
How many times have I told you not to play with the dirty money??
