Not stirring pot on this.

Even if he did follow Martin.. that doesn't mean u forfeit your rights and should allow yourself to be beaten brain dead.

plus, if Martin had a sizeable lead already and started running, Zimmerman couldn't have been following too close cause he didn't seem out of breath and was talking.. try running and talking especially if u aren't in great shape. damn near impossible.

can't u clearly hear on a tape martin saying "Why are u following me?" and Zimmerman say "What are u doing here?" then an altercation?

So on one hand. sure if Zimmerman doesn't follow.. it doesn't happen, no doubt BUT if Martin just answers the question, i also seriously doubt this happens.

I think if u are a in charge of watching your neighbors' property and backs, u owe it to them to keep an eye on someone u have never seen in your neighborhood.

Last point. people are saving face all over the world... if u wanna argue Zimmerman didn't have to use deadly force... I won't deny anyone that opinion. HOWEVER, this is a far cry from the tragedy that the media jumped the gun and first reported.

How is this "a far cry from the tragedy that the media jumped the gun and first reported"? I don't get that sentence. Martin is just as dead and the internet jury is just as divided as ever. Zimmerman's life will never be the same---forever branded the hero to some and a villain to others.

They played it up like "Black kid walks through neighborhood, dude shoots him cause he is black"

that didn't happen here. plus floating the pics of a 12 year old kid etc

To hear it, u would think some guy saw a kid walking through his neighborhood and basically did a drive by style shooting.

Zimmerman MAYBE should go to jail, but there is a shit load more gray in this case than previously reported.

just look at NBC editing 911 call to make it more salacious and more racially motivated. Zimmerman should sue NBC.

What's grey about it? The media showing a younger Martin is irrelevant to Zimmerman's actions, as is Martin's pot use. And no you would not think of it as some drive by styled shooting, you would think of it exactly was how it sounded: A wanna be cop saw a black kid and reported him for being suspicious, then followed him and subsequently killed him.

The media made a mistake and overreached with this story, that I'll admit. No need to set up a guilty man IMO, there is plenty evidence against him already.

He said he was following, was told not to, yet still ended up in a struggle with Zimmerman. An educated guess would say he ignored direction and did what he thought was best. Are we really to believe that Zimmerman said he was going to follow, was told not to, then stayed put where Martin finally charged him? (Much like smoking pot, consuming skittles can make any kid acutely aggressive, especially ones wearing a hoodie.) Yea right.

Zimmerman apparently was getting his ass kicked in a fight after he chose to put himself in that scenario, so I'm not sure how that constitutes the stand your ground law.

This asshole was found guilty despite thinking the Stand your ground law would protect him from his actions.

when asked if he regrets anything that happened that February night, he said, "No."
"I feel that it was all God's plan, and for me to second guess it or judge it," Zimmerman shook his head.

What an asshole. Doesn't regret anything that happened & then just blithely places it all on god's plan? I hope this jerk rots in jail. What a class act, truly.

Hopefully God's plan includes a lengthy prison stay where Hannity can interview him for a second time.

Did anyone hear about this? It's recordings of Zimmermann's talks w/his initial lawyers apparently. I don't know if it's real, but if it is....dude....going to jail. Seriously.

My first reaction without even hearing it is to think it's bogus. How could something like that even be released? I'll listen to it in a bit and see if I can find out anything more about it.
