I have no idea what will happen. We as a species can get out in front of it and try to transform into a post work society... or there could be revolutions and societal collapse. Some movies that come to mind are H.G. Wells The Time Machine or Idiocracy.

 

There simply will not be enough work for everyone, especially those with only basic skills once fast food and janitorial work is done by robots. Perhaps we transition to a shorter work week? Taxes on the very rich will likely go up to pay for keeping things going. If I was super rich and the choice was pay for skill-less people to sit home and watch TV and Facebook all day vs. them storming my gated community with pitchforks I know which way I would go.
