So my son and I are stopped at a red light this morning. The car in front of us has a huge sticker "Honk if you love Jesus", my son asks why people have those, I answer I have no idea, then he asks what will happen if we honk. I answer, no idea. So, you know, we now have to honk, and the lovely Christian driver flips us the bird. So next time you see one of those stickers, you know what happens. True story.

I'm black Jesus, hardly anybody even believes in me. Just the light skinned fake who hates everybody and loves guns.

Maybe the guy hated Christians, and that was just his/her sly way of getting them to honk so he could show his disapproval?

Would love to see a different side to the US. Have done New York and Washington, but somewhere like Maui or the deep south - places which seem to have a more distinct personality - would be cool.

You mean you want to go places with FRIENDLY people? Posted Image

Hawaii is a trip. Tons of Japanese tourists at Pearl Harbor...always seemed weird to me. But it's all fuckin' gorgeous.

New York wasn't bad - if you compare it with London. Washington was actually really friendly, but that might just be because we shared a hotel with some national congress of gospel singers - every one of them was awesome. But yeah, in the friendliness stakes, none of them held a candle to the folk we met in Canada on the same trip.

Zimbo - definitely plan to go to South Africa one day and do a bit of a wine tour. The country's a big favourite among my fiance's family. 2021 might be a good year for it - can combine it with a Lions Tour, which is something I've always wanted to do.

I just got off the phone after having an hour long conversation with my mom's 87 year-old boyfriend after discussing international politics, and the politics of health care. What a cool guy.

If I spent an hour on the phone talking to an 87 year-old about politics, I'd probably want to die afterwards. Posted Image TBH it's not so much the 87 year-old that would be my issue (I know a lot of older people because of my mum's work), it's the politics part. Some of them can be very opinionated....

In other news, I have an exam in 12 days. How shit. Posted Image Should probably start revising....

If anyone happens by the wretched N*C*N or Southern Belly or any of their ilk today or tomorrow, would you slap them around for me extra fucking hard in remembrance of MLK, Emmett Till and everyone and everything else their evil kind does their utmost to destroy? Just show no mercy. Thanking you in advance.

I have seen some not too flattering reports from Waterloo, lately. Seems some of the frat boys have gotten a little out of line. Great school, though.

I have to be in Syracuse next month, but I'm not sure of my schedule. I would like to spend a few days in the area, but I don't know if I'll have the time to check out the local stratigraphy.
