These gun nuts I see/read on FB are just nauseating. Same old tired arguments...ugh. Ironically, they make me want to punch them in the face, which in turn would probably end up with me getting shot. I better get a gun first I guess.

Flash - a-ah - he'll save everyone of us
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
Flash - a-ah - he's a miracle
Flash - a-ah - king of the impossible
He's for everyone of us
Stand for everyone of us
He'll save with a mighty hand
Every man every woman
Every child - with a mighty flash
Flash - a-ah
Flash - a-ah - he'll save everyone of us
Just a man
With a man's courage
He knows nothing but a man
But he can never fail
No one but the pure in heart
May find the golden grail
Oh oh - oh oh

I can't believe what an incredible fucking dick my brother is. Over the years, he's become totally self centered and just obnoxious, but this one to me take the cake.
My Dad's sister died over the weekend. So my Father, who is almost 80, had to get on a plane from Texas and fly to Fla to bury his sister. Getting a ticket was confusing for him, so we booked his flight here and emailed him the information. They are about one hour from my brother in San Antonio.
Right off the bat, my brother doesn't like the flight itinerary and is asking Dad to change it. Apparently he thinks it's too long and it also doesn't coincide with his schedule. Given that the reservation was last minute, this was the best we could find and for the best price.
Next, is that instead of driving out to pick up my Father, he has Mom drive him out. My Mom who is 80 years old and rarely drives. Is now driving on rural country roads, and then an interstate to my brother's home, where he will then take Dad to the airport, about 15 minutes away. Mom of course, has to drive back alone; another hour.
So my brother gets him on the plane, but then tells him he can't pick him up. Apparently, the night my Dad flies home, you know...from his fucking sister's funeral, my brother is having a 16th Bday party for his step daughter. He's cooking a "big meal' and can't get away. It seems too, that his wife is unable to pick up Dad either for some strange reason. The girl is also getting a party the next day. Despite all the festivities, he can't pull himself away for 30 minutes to pick our 79 year old father up from the airport. Instead Dad is going to take a cab. A fucking cab.
Then, to top it off, instead of taking our Father home. My mother is going to drive back out and get him. Then Dad will drive back. The flight today wore him out and when I talked to him, he was a little confused. So now he's supposed to fly back to Texas, catch a cab to my brother's house, and then drive back to his house in the country, an hour away.
My brother is a fucking dick. Just an fucking self centered POS fuckwad.

That is fucked up, J. And I'm sure you feel helpless because you can't be there to do anything about it. If I were you, I'd be on the phone to my brother and give him a good piece of my mind. He NEEDS to take care of his dad - your dad and mom shouldn't be driving an hour by themselves. That's just bullshit. If he absolutely can't or won't do it himself, then he needs to arrange to have someone he trusts do it. Asshat.

I actually called him last night, but got his voicemail. I thought better of it today, because it won't do any good. He's not going to do it and telling him he's a douche, won't change anything. Right now I'm trying to get a quote for a shuttle service to just take him home instead. That would make more sense. That way Mom doesn't have to drive. Dad can just get picked up and have somebody drive him home.
