Mueller drops a bombshell today. 

 

GOP says it doesn't name any collusion, so clearly nothing happened. But of course that's not how indictments work. He's indicting Russians, and apparently one Florida man TODAY. Just as he indicted others previously. Defining the space around an action is their go-to move though. I mean, the indictments also don't say that Flagg has a micro penis and hates women...it doesn't say all kinds of things. 

 

Also it looks almost for certain that Gates is about to flip as well. 

 

Edit: But this move is interesting. Clearly no Russians are going to brought in and put on trial. But he seems to be setting up something else. I can't figure out what yet. One thing it does is prove (although all our intelligence agencies already confirmed this) that Russians fucked with our election, despite what Trump says. It also makes Trump lack of sanctions against Russia look very bad.

Besides anything else, it makes it very hard to fire Rosenstein (and hence Mueller) - in the short term maybe it's simply that. In the long term, this new case in California - Pinedo. He's also taken a plea deal. That's 4/5 who have taken deals assuming Gates has flipped. They must be offering something against someone important, no? Just Flynn - he's clearly taken a really generous deal compared to what he might have had - why?

The man, Richard Pinedo of Santa Paula, Calif., pleaded guilty this week to identity fraud, according to a statement of offense. Other documents unsealed by the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, show that Mr. Pinedo’s plea supported the indictment of 13 Russian nationals and three Russian organizations, which also was revealed on Friday.
