True. I just don't know what he was thinking with that prequel trilogy. The writing and acting are both just awful, particularly by Natalie Portman and both actors playing Anakin. Most of the other acting is OK, but those two characters are too central to let it be that bad. But Empire...now that's a dark masterpiece.

The biggest problem with the newer trilogy was ( besides some acting ,) That Lucas wrote the Screenplays and directed them. George isn't a great director nor a good screenplay writer. Now he can write the story aspect really good .

I thought certain aspects of the prequels such as Darth Maul and the final fight between Obi Wan and Anakin were pretty good, but on the whole, they were pretty disappointing. Will George let the franchise rest is the question.

It's not resting now. There is the live action show , plus the CGI one that is going now. plus they are going to put them all back in theaters in a few years with them being in 3d.

All as in all 6, or just the original ones?

The action was good throughout...acting and story is what killed it, for me. RotS was on TV tonight, and I watched some of it. It would be good, good, good, awful Anakin acting, good, good, good, awful Padme acting. Granted, the acting on this one wasn't as bad at the Attack of the Clones (lamest movie title ever, I should add).

I don't understand the horrible acting either. Hayden and Natalie have both shown they're capable of acting in other films.

You never ask a navy man if he'll have another drink, because it's nobody's goddamned business how much he's had already.
