In shooty hoop news, The Champions Classic saw the #4 ranked Dook defeat #3 ranked Kansas, and #1 rankd Tom Izzo's team, falling to the #2 ranked Wildcats. Damn, that hurt seeing Bill Self falling to another cheater. Waiting for the polls on Monday.
Also, nothing but respect for Tom Izzo and Michigan State.

Ouch...sorry It's Cousin.
We had tickets to go tonight...bought 'em months ago just because I've always wanted to go to the tourney and it's usually in town. Then Purdue was a number 1 seed playing in Indy, so should be fun.
Of course, my son has been sick all week and barfed this morn, so plans are off. I was able to immediately resell them through TicketTyrant at a bit of a markup (I didn't even set the price...they had "waiting offers"), but then they want your SSN for tax reporting. Figures. Guess I'll go to the sweet 16 next year at considerably greater cost!

^^^ Two years in a row! A lot of people were calling for Cal's head, but the AD let it be known he won't be fired... this season. If anything remotely similar happens next year, he's gone. He probably needs a Sweet !6, next year to be safe.
edit: gonna add, I'm conflicted as to who I want to win the Championship. I guess any of them other than UCONN is fine. I like NC State just because of Jimmy V, and Auburn is SEC, so I think it's required to support them, but I fucking hate Bruce Pearl. Purdue is IU's rival, and IU used to be one of our rivals(we're going to start playing them again, next season), and a longtime friend used to teach in the forestry dept., there, so I like them, too.
Probably rooting for Purdue for those reasons, and all the great memes that will come out if they win(if you are unaware- https://duckduckgo.c...ges&ia=images).
