The book took on the idea of life on Earth if humans were suddenly to disappear and the studio will play a fictional feature using the book's science, possibly showing an event that would lead to mankind vanishing. The studio plans to turn it into a tentpole feature for "I Am Legend" duo Mark Protosevich to write and Francis Lawrence to direct.
