Fair point, but his battles with davegnr2k in the GNR section years ago were entertaining.

I honestly cant answer the question. I don't post there anymore. Its not a close knit community anymore(hasn't been for years) and other than a few old timers hanging in, the site has a very high turnover rate. I check the site for shits and giggles every few months, and its always new faces hanging around and a few of them trying to post whore themselves into "legend" status.

Site used to be packed 24/7. Now half the time you check there's only a handful online. In my opinion the site has worn out its need as the "official" forum. Not enough people check it for news or post there anymore to warrant such a status.

I think its appeal was the idea that Jarmo was close to the band and so the forum was closest to a Chinese Democracy. Now that it's out, it's just another gnr forum and a restrictive one at that.
