Roast ham for tea tonight. The wife's trying to perfect her glaze ahead of Christmas. Very happy to be the test subject!

We're eating 'weird' this week which is what I call it when we skip going to the grocery store and try to use up stuff in the freeze and pantry.
We did that last week, it's actually quite entertaining.
Ya, I know. I'm watching the Iron Chefs a lot this week for inspiration. Thankfully, I don't think I'll be pulling any octopus out of the freezer.

Worked in the yard this afternoon. Way too tired to cook, so we ran out for some Cuban. Roast pork, plantains, yellow rice n' beans and we split a small cafe con leche. All for 9 bucks. Not a bad deal.

Also going to make some Kale Chips later tonight. I had them at a friends house and they were surprisingly awesome. Basically just cut, clean, brush with olive oil then bake. Finally top off with sea salt.

I've been wicked bad. I baked chocolate chip cookies and then ate six of them before they even cooled off.
I admire that.
Last night I gave in and had 5 guys burger with french fries. The burger was fantastic but they over salted the fries bigtime.
Tonight I may have some more chili for dinner.
