Is this where I am supposed to introduce myself?I see some familiar names from SLC's other board.Whistler's Momma you are not the only oldster here.I have gone back to school and my online time is spread thin but it is good to be in touch with simpatico people.

I've seen a few posts on various boards from kids who are starry-eyed about music from the 60's and 70's. It was an exciting time for sure, and some great, great stuff came out then, but let's not forget that this was the era that also produced Bobby Goldsboro's "Honey," Paul Anka's "You're Having My Baby, "Debby Boone's "You Light Up My Life" and plenty of other tripe.I raised my kids on good music and now they are paying me back by turning me on to some good stuff.
