SEAL sniper teams in shorter range (under 500 meters) and in urban settings use the M25 Sniper Rifle. The M25 is a semiautomatic 7.62mm (.308 Winchester)
It is also a sniper support weapon for the spotter in a longer range 50Cal senario.
