Saw them on their Love/live tour on Friday. Good show and the Love album is a favourite of mine, but don't think they are the live force they were back in the 80s/90s when they were among the best live acts around.
Anyway, what does everyone make of this trend of playing whole albums live? I've seen Priest and The Wildhearts do it also recently, and while it's cool in a way it also takes a huge element of surprise out of a show (not that there is much with the internet anyway). I think something like NIN have done recently with TDS, do it unannounced and then let it gradually dawn on people as you go, is much cooler but then you have to have a band who is prepared to play different sets each night which isn't that many.
Also, I first saw the Cult in March 1987 which is a fucking long time ago....

Guess I'll see whole this thing is twice this weekend.
New Music is supposed to come out next year. But not in an album form so who knows how it will be released.
Also heard they may tour Europe in the first part of next year with a big band that they have played with in the past... hhhhummmm
