OOH yeah! Nice gear ratio and though bearings.....It must look hot in a nice scatter shield....That's no automatic my friends.

I like a Nice Glide master with a B&M shift kit or T-10....He also has some candy dispenser!

You have my sympathies. I'm not much on trannies, but I've installed a few rebuilds on motors. Is that one at the top a 4 speed?

I have no idea what that is actually.

On mine I have had trouble on the 2-3 shift (starts off in second) and then it shifts fine. I have to ease off the throttle like I'm driving a stick to get it to shift out. Then the 3-4 shift is correct, downshifts are fine. I dropped the pan last week and didn't find any metal shavings. I did find some what appeared to be cork gasket material. After talking to one of my car buds online he informed me that it was the intermediate plate gasket, which is above the throttle body. Once this gasket is blown I lose hydraulic pressure which is why I can't shift correctly in lower gears. Makes sense. So, with the transmission in the car I'll have to drop the pan, the filter, then the TB, the intermediate plate, measure B2 bands to make sure they are in spec, and then replace the gasket, then put it all back together, making sure to adhere to absolute cleanliness and inch pound torque specs.

I've already replaced the k2 spring kit and that actually helped the shift quite a bit. So I've gotten into the TB just a bit. Not too intimidating, just go slow and follow directions. Check everything twice before actually doing it etc.
