I know people wanted more, but I think this is what it looks like when GNR kind of has their shit together. All the idiots predicting a massive Appetite 5 world tour are fools. So I'm not gonna poo poo this..AFD needs a remaster/rerelease.
I also take heart in the fact that this was done in connection with their official website. This wasn't just the label doing a moneymaker...the band was involved to some degree. Anytime the band and a label are working together on anything, I see it as a positive. This isn't the band that's going to shit out a new, mediocre album every three years. All it took was getting Axl and Slash in a room for us to get this tour...getting the band and a label on the same page matters, in my opinion.

Yeah they went all out. The GNR camp went to the hardcore collectors to dig through their stuff to put together this set. I know a lot of fans don't care about the merch in this set but they went above and beyond the call of duty for this.
This set was long overdue and I'm glad we're getting it. It's the swan song to the AFD era.
You're right....the fact that its getting released at all shows they are on the same page as the label.
Now we know why a new GH wasn't released the past two years. This was being planned.
