I'm not a huge alcohol drinker, but had a taste of McEwan's tonight. If all beer tastes like that, count me out.

Thankfully cider came to the rescue. Posted Image

A can of Stella Artois. I know quite a lot of people who aren't keen on it, but it's been my go-to lager of choice since I started drinking as a teen, and it's very rare a week goes by without me going through at least a gallon. Have a bottle of Côtes du Luberon Blanc in the fridge to go with the beef massaman curry we're having later.

I really like Stella Artois, though I prefer bottles to cans.

Used to drink draft Stella in London - good stuff but certain brutal hangover.

It was only a matter of time before I got around to Thai food... that said, it was the missus who made it!

I drink Stella pretty much everywhere I go, if it's on tap anyway. If not, then Heineken's a typical back up, or Red Stripe. If none of them are about, and there's nothing new that takes my fancy, I'll probably go for Becks. It's bland, but inoffensive.

Stella hangovers aren't nice. It's one of those ones where you feel it in your stomach, as well as your head.

Everything we got.
Sister burn the temple
And stand beneath the moon
The sound of the ocean is dead
It's just the echo of the blood in your head

Carlsberg.
