I filmed pelicans dive bombing for food in the ocean when I was in Key West. I loved how they just went "BONZAIIIIII!!!!"

This was in the gas station bathroom right before we left the mainland for the Keys:

Apparently this Hitler-esque tea kettle is causing a stir:

I saw that billboard. The very first thing I saw was what looked like a cartoon Hitler. It took me a few seconds to even realize it was a tea kettle.

Saw this really cool story about a toxic African lake that mummifies the remains of animals that fall in. And, in typical me fashion, what I first thought is...that is FUCKING METAL!

Check out the pics attached to the story...each one looks like a bad ass metal album cover (they're staged...photog finds the corpses and puts them in a "lifelike" position). Story linked below:

EDIT: First pick reminded me of this metal album cover:

Today was a crazy day. Outhouse races, wild horses, an argument with a Tea Party business owner, white knuckle driving up some of the steepest mountain roads I've ever been on....but nothing was as cool as this.

We went looking for bears this morning (my wife's idea, I'm clearly not this stupid on my own) and we found one rather quickly looking at Salmon for breakfast. I was scared shitless...but it was still awesome. The bear was completely oblivious to all the photographers.

If you look carefully in the second pictures you can see all the Salmon.

^^ Kind of awesome, but.....I don't know about that. I'd be scared shitless, too. This is random, but - when my son went down to Gatlinburg, TN recently, he had a bear run right across the road in front of his car - and it was somewhere along a main thoroughfare. He said that there was a guy walking on the sidewalk, carrying a box of pizza, and the bear ran right past him - the guy dropped his box of pizza and also lost one of his shoes!

haha, holy shit, that's hilarious. ^^

I have a cell video my buddy sent me of him hiking in NC when he comes across a bear who charges him. The video stops there, but the bear ran away shortly after.

Can you say shit your pants????
