We're just starting to get into our Alaska pictures. To say there was an abundance of awesome moments, would be an understatement. At some points it was almost too much to take in, views everywhere, all at once. Since it didn't get dark until 11:00 PM some nights, I was constantly looking at stuff, haha. I almost felt guilty when I wasn't taking it in.

Below we've got some pictures from our whale scouting trip. We watched this guy for about 20 minutes. He had a playmate, a sea lion, that mimicked its moves down to the dives...even the captain was excited to see this.

Also the train ride up the mountain, and because I've known you mofos for so long, and you're my dawgs: A double rainbow.

Also, is that train the one that takes you up to the Canadian border and back?  Rode that mega-years back.  Yes, white privilege, but I identify as Mexican.

Yes, takes you up to BC, and then you bike into Alaska.

The customs guy at the border was funny. He said that prior he was on the US/Mexican border, so it was drugs, guns and people he was looking for. Now he's basically looking for fruit, and is much happier at the job, haha.

From my solo hike today. I have to remember never to go on the weekends again. I had the entire mountain to myself almost, didn't see anybody else for a couple of hours.

"I had the entire mountain to myself" is a precurser to "I had to amputate my arm and drink my own pee to survive."  Needless to say, if that's how you go, we'll dedicate a darkly humorous thread to it.

haha, not yet!

Back up again today, my favorite tree, the white aspen. Exciting I know, but fuck it, I'm getting old...

Today I saw a wild horse and later a wild ass driving back down to the valley.

On another forum we were posting childhood pics. I whipped up a link for one so I'll go ahead and post it here as well.

My first girlfriend and I in preschool back in 1979....

All propaganda has to be popular and has to accommodate itself to the comprehension of the least intelligent of those whom it seeks to reach.

Demoralize the enemy from within by surprise, terror, sabotage, assassination. This is the war of the future.
