TAP said you play a mean harpsichord.

I played guitar in a few bands back in the late 80s early 90s while in college. Mostly cover bands but some original stuff here and there. I moved around a bit to different states after college and stopped playing in bands. But in the past year I have (incoming cliche) gotten the band back together so to speak. The drummer and bassist/singer from some of my back in the day bands and I, along with a new guy (guitar/vocals) have been jamming again. I am no shredder but can do OK when I am not too intoxicated and remember the parts.

Here is a recording from 1989 of one of my bands drunkenly doing some Sex Pistols. I am playing guitar and some backing vox:

Here is me recently just screwing around with GarageBand on my mac. I was just riffing around off the top of my head to see what the software does:

And here is me and the old bandmates doing some multi-track recording in the band practice room. It is a recording of one of our old original songs from back in the day. I am on guitar and lead vox (double tracked, I thought it sounded phatter) also on bass since that was recorded when the bass player was awol. He does that some times.

Thanks, Lynn. It actually started on topic as yesterday, about four posts up, I said I was hungover from having too many beers at band practice. But it is off topic so I promise to have an extra beer as soon as possible.

Got a brutal hangover today. Work Christmas party last night. I was hoping to have quite a quiet one, what with having to be in work today, but some guys from the sales team had other ideas. God those people know how to have a fucking good time. We blew the party off and hit the local bars til 4am, and I didn't have to buy a single drink because they were whacking it all on expenses. Paid for it today though - three hours of sleep, and a beer-wine-jagerbomb-jack daniels-induced headache. Ugh. Fortunately my boss was with me all night and was feeling just as rough, so it didn't cause any issues.

I love drunk Lisa, come back! Speaking of hangovers, I had a mighty one on Superbowl day, a product of almost 3 bottles of pinot noir the night before on an empty stomach. That was awesome.
