I bought her a 19 inch flat screen for her bedroom. She just had a tough surgery, has been and will continue to be in bed for a while. I had a lot of fun today too! I'm wound up and need to sleep. I can't wait to give my other gifts to the Missus. Sucks that you have to work, I've worked plenty of Holidays in the past when I was in the service industry.

Well, she better appreciate it! I would. You got good gifts for the "Missus", too? Like what? We already opened gifts - we did it the 23rd, because of fucking work conflicts, but whatever. Really, I'm pissed off because I asked for Cmas Eve off, last January 4th, and I was denied the vacation day because, supposedly, there is not enough available staff to cover. I've never been denied a vacation day in the almost 11 yrs I've worked there. So, yeah, I'm going to feel sorry for myself and post heavy metal Cmas videos, but I'll get over it.........I will.

At Miami Beach for a week which rules But rest of my family couldn't make it because of snow in London which sucks Just off to swim in the ocean.....merry christmas y'all.

Found decent hotel on beach, with small kitchen so we don't have to eat out every day - good price from booking last minute in weak economy. Weather has been nice so far but looks colder for the next 2-3 days. Might do everglades trip plus museums/seaquarium. Looks like we're avoiding a huge storm in NYC tomorrow.

I got her an upgrade on her ring and new wedding band. Diamond earrings, beautiful Bulova watch, and a digital picture frame. (All compliments of my former employer of course, thanks dickheads.) Then her Mom dropped the bomb with a really nice kitchen aid mixer ( I guess these are really expensive, do all kinds of stuff and she wanted it for a while.) So the Missus got major loot this year.

I got some cool tools, a big standing tool box, shirts, cologne, the Ozzy autobiography, and the wii fit with ski/snowboard games. Lots of fun, tons of food. Great day overall.
