Damn, I'd love a KitchenAid mixer. Putting one on my wedding list in the hope that someone's feeling generous.
I had a brilliant Christmas Day. First Christmas in our own house for my fiance and I, and my parents and brother came over for dinner. Turkey was the best it's ever been by a mile (can't recommend slow-cooking enough!), wine was great, cheese was great, home-made cranberry sauces and chutneys were great... was a bit disappointed by everything else we ate, but as a whole it was lovely, and I had so much fun cooking and playing the host.
Hope everyone had a nice day!

We just figured out how to synch this wii fit up to the other thingy, now we can wii snowboard. This is gonna be awesome. Today I'm going to stuff my face, lay around with the Missus, play video games and do jack shit.

Wow! Your wife made out great! You did very well - very nice.
Kitchen Aides are expensive - top of the line. Now she'll want all the expensive attachments that come with. Braden has one and loves it!
I got some lotions, hand soaps, candles. Earrings. McDonald's gift certificates. Booze. Some really cool Ed Hardy wine glasses. A clock radio/CD player. Wireless computer mouse. Gift certificate to a local uniform shop which sells really different, but expensive, uniforms. I was happy.

Found decent hotel on beach, with small kitchen so we don't have to eat out every day - good price from booking last minute in weak economy. Weather has been nice so far but looks colder for the next 2-3 days. Might do everglades trip plus museums/seaquarium. Looks like we're avoiding a huge storm in NYC tomorrow.
Hope you'll share some photos with us.
Do you like it down there so far?
Just got back - crazy amounts of snow here, but we timed it well. Had fun, even when it got too cold to swim - went to Miami Seaquarium which was pretty cool, even the orca show from the front row. And did a very cliched airboat tour into the everglades to see alligators. I might post some pix if you're lucky.
