A new  one for Franken today. A woman claimed he grabbed her ass, while her husband took their picture. Husband confirms story, but didn't say anything to Franken at the time? Why not?

I like Al Franken but there's always more stories. With that new allegation, I think she told her husband after it happened and when he was already gone. She did put it on FaceBook at the time (2010). 

 

Of course, the allegations against Trump are at least as bad and more numerous than pretty much anyone who has been accused the last few weeks.

I stood outside Metallica’s tour bus after they opened for Ozzy in NOLA on Master of Puppets tour (Cliff still alive) and watched James Hetfield in the driver’s seat reach out the window and fondle a woman’s chest for several minutes. She seemed ok with it.

I found it odd today watching all these women on TV talking about men getting pervy.  Haven't they been saying for years that a major problem for so-called women's issues is that men are the ones leading the discussion and making the choices?  If dudes are the pervs, we need to hear from dudes. 

 

I'm thinking something like a televised game of "Fuck/Marry/Kill", but more like "Catcall/Fondle/Masturbate-in-front-of".

 

Seriously, these three women on MSNBC sitting around speculating about why a man wants to rub one out in front of a woman.  One of them had the good sense to say "we need to talk to a man about this" but not the good sense to realize that most men wouldn't have the answer.

The odd thing is that the Dems seem to be admitting guilt and moving into investigations, pushes to resign, etc.  The GOP pervs just deny and pray they can get through it.

The current Trump side of the GOP is defined by reverse engineering every incident back into 'facts' which fit their my side=good and nuanced, their side=homogenous bad 'other'. So Franken is guilty but the Trump/Moore women are lying - 'why did they take so long?' etc. And that's the end result of Fox/Breitbart/InfoWars/Hate radio dominating that end of the political spectrum. It's a Pandora's box which the relatively sane (still kinda evil, neocon-ish) side of the GOP benefitted from but are now clueless as to what to do. People like McCain, Collins, Sasse, Flake, Corker, and traditional conservative commentators like Kristol etc. Facts, evidence, logic as well as tradition and standards of public behavior have ceased to matter, with only 'winning' of worth.
