Most of the winter is kind of my weekend, I get alot of time off November thru March!!!

Sounds good to me! Nothing worse than having to report to duty when the days are so awesome. Speaking of which, I really need to get out to the beach before the heat comes back.

I hear ya, I went to the Conch about a month ago & then walked out on the beach for a bit, man I wish that place was closer for me cuz I could eat there everyday.

I have thought about moving to the St Pete area. There are a couple of issues. One is that a lot of the area that is close to the beach is still poopy (older run down hoods.) Then you cross over the bridge and voila it's gorgeous. The other is if you have ever seen a picture of St Pete (beach especially) from the air, it's essentially sitting on NOTHING. Just sittin' there on a sand bar. I will tell you though, the idea of having a little place out there and experiencing that vibe 24/7 would be special. I wonder if it would wear off eventually ya know? It would be amazing to just be able to ride a bike up and down that main drag on your days off. Just lovin' it.

Back in my motorcycle days I used to love riding up and down Bayshore, especially at night when nobody was really out there.

I tell ya, if I had the cash to live on the beach I wouldn't, I'd have a boat and be out in the water only to come in to change the shitter and fill up on supplies, then I'd take my ass right back out away from everything!!!

I've only been on a boat a couple of times. I had a friend who had one and it just killed him financially. He wasn't very good with money though overall, kind of irresponsible. I had another friend tell me there are two happiest days in a man's life: 1) When he gets a boat, and 2) When he gets rid of it. haha, I thought that was pretty funny.

I guess it depends on what your passionate about, if your buying a boat just cuz you can then I think those rules apply, but if your buying a boat cuz you truly love the thought of just sailing away, than there is no better feeling on earth ( besides jumping from an airplane at 15,000 feet ) that I would rather have!!!
