Watched "Red Sparrow" on whatever it's on, and I was impressed. Normally, I can't stand Jennifer Lawrence(she's a Louisville fan), but I have to admit, she was good.

I can see how it could get mixed reviews depending upon expectations. It really captures a 70s vibe and makes someone becoming the Joker almost plausible. Great soundtrack. Worth seeing.
It looked great to me, and I like Phoenix.

^^^ Good story, but it is fiction based upon Sheeran's embellishments and his money grab. Sad to see that Scorsese fell for it, but I guess that is typical for Hollywood types.

There is a better, and factual, movie on Netflix that tells the story of Danny Greene and his attempt to squeeze out the the Italians in Cleveland. Kill The Irishman

Uncut Gems - Sandler should've got an Oscar nom for this one.
Parasite - Best movie I've seen in a long ass time. Nice mélange of horror, suspense, and comedy like Get Out.

^^^ Been looking forward, to this, but I'm still seeing it as a pay film? Did you torrent it?
As it turns out my neighbor lent me a screener (he's an actor so gets them for SAG voting) - still haven't watched it though, maybe this evening.
