Your brother sounds a tad self-absorbed J.

What Shaq did is revolting.

I don't understand the Shaq thing, why would he do that?

I just booked a sedan to take Dad home tomorrow night. That's much better than just calling my bro and telling him he's a dick IMO.

Everything worked out ok, for your dad, then?  Hope so!

Yes. It was a little weird though, because my Dad had forgotten his cell phone. Then he went to to cab area, instead of the regular drop off point. So the driver called me here, to verify what Dad looked like. He could not find him and kept talking to me. I wasn't sure what he wanted, since there was nothing I could do. But as it turned out, it was good he was on the phone, because my Mom called Neen and told her what Dad was wearing and that he probably went to the cab area. I was able to convey this to the driver, and in a couple of minutes I could hear him talking to my Dad.

My Mom was so happy that she cried. She was nervous about making that drive.

And you know what? I didn't hear a peep from my brother. Not one fucking thing. So I really do wonder if he thought anything of it at all. Obviously Mom had to let him know that I'd be getting him home. But did he call me at all? Nope. Not a word. Also too, Dad's flight got delayed, so he didn't land until 11:30, which means my brother could have picked him up anyway. Surely he would have been done cooking his "big meal" by then.

I also thought too of growing up. My Dad always worked late, got up early to take us to soccer practice. Band practice. Running events. He volunteered as the assistant coach on many things. He was always doing shit. He always was surprising us. And you know what? He would always help people. My Dad has often stopped what he was doing, to help take a broken down driver somewhere, or help somebody in some way. If it was the other way around, Dad would have picked my brother up from the airport. There would not have even been a question.

So an ex GF from 9th grade summer, friend requests me on FB about a year ago. I think we "dated' for about 2 months, until we got back to high school, where she dumped me immediately, and would not talk to me. I was not in the cool people club, and she wouldn't even look at me. On top of that, something I told her in absolute confidence, she told her Mom, which then got relayed to my Mom. This caused me a great deal of grief. So I knew her for about 3 months, and I recall her to be a rather nasty person.

So whatever... I accept her friend request. We say hi and chat in the usual 2-3 catch up messages. Then of course, as it turns out, she's a huge Glenn Beck fan etc etc. I am subsequently unfriended about two weeks later. I figure that's it.

Now, she is friend requesting me again...haha wtf.

I find your post strangely erotic...

Sister burn the temple
And stand beneath the moon
The sound of the ocean is dead
It's just the echo of the blood in your head

Ooops!

That reminds me of a restaurant I was a waiter in when I was 22 or so. It was an indy Italian joint in Tampa. You would write the order on one side of the ticket and then insert it into the old NCR computer, and it would spit out the totaled bill for the guest. Most waiters write position points (so 1-4 etc) starting to the left of them and working around the table clockwise. For some reason, this guy I worked with would write down descriptions: "Lady with hat" or "Green Shirt." Seemed like more work to me, but whatever.

Well one day he wrote "Fat guy" on the check. So, like a bonehead, he prints up the tab and drops it off to the table. A few minutes later, there is a rather angry fat guy, standing in the kitchen door, demanding to see the waiter...hahah. ooops!

Today I browsed through the manifesto left by the Santa Barbara shooter. What an absolute pathetic, narcissistic, self centered little shit he was. It's really the same thing over and over. How he felt slighted by everybody, life isn't fair, nobody loves him, poor me, girls don't want to fuck me, people experiencing love/intimacy should be punished since I can't have that etc. Really nutty shit. He also thought many things (jobs etc) were below him, that he was an intellectual superior and was enraged when he saw black or latin guys with girls he felt should be with him. He also despised women for choosing to be with these inferior men, rather than the obvious choice: him.

I wish these guys would just kill themselves first.

But reading this pathetic diatribe, you see that he wants somebody to pay for his miserable little life. Everybody should be punished because the world (and women) haven't acknowledged his superiority.
