Thanks, guys. We weren't real close. Basically, I would see her and my brother's other kids and grandkids on holidays and some birthdays, but my brother, and especially his wife, are pretty tore up.

Loretta Lynn passed, today. I was so fortunate to catch one of her last shows in '17. She had a stroke shortly after and had to quit touring.

 

Apparently, her and Bret Micheals recorded a duet of "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" a few weeks ago in her home studio(he was a frequent visitor to her farm). Hope it's released.

Burt Bacharach passed. Not really a fan of the pop pablum that came out of the Brill Building, though I recognized his(and other Brill collaborators) genius.
