Well I have a brand new invention called AIR CONDITIONING!!!

It's about 75 here.....ahhhhhh.

Yea, this is perfect right now. I also like when it warms up a tad around April and early May. It's warm, but not miserable hot like the summer. Just nice, bright sun and warm. Feels fantastic. Then the summer comes....

The summers a bitch, but it still ain't nothin like those northern freezes.

The summer nights aren't that bad IMO either....Which really, as a whole, makes Florida a pretty easy place to live as far as weather is concerned.

Tampa seems to do pretty good in that regard. The worst I see in my area is wind damage. About four years ago lots of huge oaks were blown over. The soil (read: Sand) simply can not hold up to that amount of rainfall and the trees eventually just fall over. I saw a few wind damaged roofs too around here, but nothing extraordinary. Out by the beaches would be something else altogether however.
