A few thoughts here.

 

1) Sounded OK actually. 

 

2) Belinda is still fine as hell...seemed stoned though and like she was just singing around the house while she cleaned. Not very motivated. 

 

3) Drummer reminds me of this angry lesbian chef I worked for years ago. She looked bitter. 

 

4) I can think of just one person I knew when I was 18 that I am still friends with today. There are others I have lost contact with, or still could stay in touch with, but choose not to. Now imagine being a band with a group of peeps decades ago and having to stick with them all these years. Imagine how different you would all be. More than likely, if it weren't for a shared interested, you probably would have lost touch a long time ago. Now imagine trying to keep that spark alive, at least during your performances, year after  year. Would be difficult I imagine. 

 

5) I'd rather crank out the old ass hits rather than get a real job.

My favorite Van Hagar song. Never understood why so many fans said Ed's tone is shit on this album. Its fucking killer on this track....also like that acoustic guitar work that Sammy's pretending to play in the video which I assume is actually Ed as well. Anthony's backing vocals are great in this as well.

 

Its also the only Van Hagar song I can picture Roth singing and even writing the lyrics.

I have seen Feldman perform before...would not book him on any show. 

 

Somebody on The Today show either saw him and decided to book, or watched Lost Boys and decided to book based on that alone. Either way, they should be fired.

He's a retard, and I find him highly annoying. It also never ceases to amaze me when people are so utterly clueless about how untalented they may be in any given department. I grew up with a guy who was an absolute horrible singer, but joined chorus, would perform solos to muffled laughter...constantly humiliated himself over and over. He never got a clue, and nobody ever told him he couldn't sing. So he'd stand up in front of everybody and make an ass out of himself. 

 

At the same time, Feldman is clearly a headcase so I do have some sympathy for him.
