This video is just ridiculous:

"Whereas scientists, philosophers and political theorists are saddled with these drably discursive pursuits, students of literature occupy the more prized territory of feeling and experience." - Terry Eagleton

^^Oh Damn!
You never ask a navy man if he'll have another drink, because it's nobody's goddamned business how much he's had already.

I take it you were a fan.

Not really a video, but before MTV the "videos" were live performances. This dude could bend some strings I was fortunate enough to catch one of his shows years ago, and had forgot all about it until someone mentioned him on another forum.

After Hours TV Live On Friday Nights?

Crazy Train ...Look how easy Randy Rhodes make it look...Image what he would have done now..What early to mid 40's?? I believe he was straight edge too? Again I will say the most sort after session guitar player at the time of his death....

I was there...Ozzy came out in a purple sweat suit with some guitarists from Jersey!!! It was recorded live and at points you can hear my friend screaming! Top 3 concerts ever!

To watch him live was incredible! He played homage to Eddie Van Halen and blowing it away, during a solo by breaking out into Eruption during a solo...just a sad loss!

He was with Ozzy already but went out with Quiet Riot for a few concerts???

Just look how much he loved what he was doing and how much he loved randy...He still pays Randy's mother royalties....

The Firm-Radioactive

They were playing that the other night at work for my friend who has cancer...and is essentially radioactive. She has a great sense of humor about it all, I guess that's all you can do.

First, RIP Randy. Awesome guitarist with a too sad and untimely demise. Awesome videos!

I have one, which I don't know is more old school or classic:

No cowbell! Randy was in a class by himself and respected all who came before him, Ozzy said he actually has many recordings of Randy that he will not release because he was so close to and loved him as a friend so much. Can you imagine what he has on those tapes?

It's totally possible. I should know because I invented it, but not really.
