While the doctors were enablers, there is only one person responsible for the death.

They're both responsible.
Sister burn the temple
And stand beneath the moon
The sound of the ocean is dead
It's just the echo of the blood in your head

I'm sure MJ knew how to take pills and shoot himself up w/o the help of any doctor.....

I vote for the doctors, this time.

If there is even any truth to that, I blame the doctor. Yeah, I agree that an addict is responsible for himself and his overdose and death should that happen. However, it sounds to me like this doctor just kept giving him stuff at the risk of losing his own license. That's a fuck of a lot of medications which no qualified and reasonable doctor would administer even with the patient begging. That's just crazy. Plus, with that kind of time lapse between the time he knew something was wrong and called for an ambulance is suspect, to me.

I think so. Fucker. Money does talk. I question that doctor's basic ethics.

Lots of money and a patient that was way out of his league (in terms of controlling) with a hardcore drug addict.

Addicts have obscenely high tolerances. That explains the amount. There was a woman in a postpartum unit at a local hospital that Bea worked at. The doctor prescribed 120mg of Dolophine(12 pills) ever morning. The nurses didn't want to give it to her... they thought that it was too much. Hell, that would kill a normal person. Turns out the woman was on methadone maintenance... she got her stuff
