Had a recent falling out with a very good friend, and I want you guys to be honest, and tell me who the asshole is. If you think I am wrong, I totally understand. I just need some outside perspective on the situation.

Guy I am talking about, graduated with me from our program in College. Guy has always been like a father figure to me. very close friends we are/were. Well, as i was going through a tough financial stretch, I sold him one of my guitars for 275 bucks. This was a 700 dollar Fender strat, but i had to have quick cash, so i let it go cheap. Anyhow, he told me, once I got on my feet, He'd sell it back to me for same price.

K, so fast forward a little bit, right around Thanksgiving or so... he and i go to a continuing ed seminar together.. when we get back, he asked me if I still wanted that guitar. I said yeah, I'd love to have it back, but understand if u are now attached to it and don't wanna sell it. He said he'd def sell it back cause he knows how much i love it etc...

So anyway, I told him I didn't have the cash but would save up and buy it back when i got the money. He wouldn't hear of it. He told me i could take the guitar and I could pay him whenever i got it, he knew i was good for it. Once again, I politely declined. said I could send payments and once i reached the price, He could then give it to me, but once again he insisted i go ahead and take the guitar. So finally i gave in and took it.

So when i was looking for a car. He helped me big time finding what i wanted etc and helped me get a good deal as i am not very good at that kind of thing... Dealer wanted 500 down and i told him if i got the car, I wouldn't be able to pay him until prob late Feb/Early march when i got income tax. he once again tells me, don't worry man, i know u are good for it, no worries.

So anyhow, i get a random text from him saying he needed some money on the guitar ASAP and gave me his address..... Thought.. ok this is kinda weird.... but sent out a 50 dollar check just to give him something to show i was respecting his wishes.. 50 is all i could spare.. had a ton of shit go wrong and just kinda broke.

So anyway, week or so later, i get an email.. he telling me that he appreciates me trying to send "something" but to put the 50 back in my account as he shredded my check. Said how i have his money and guitar and he wants me to send half by 14th, rest by end of month and to treat this like any other debt.


That shit completely rubbed me the wrong way... i am absolutely pissed...I told him had i known he wanted that by certain date, i wouldn't have taken it. i am tempted to send him the money AND the guitar back and a giant FUCK U.. what do u guys think??

on a side note.. picked up a 2nd job today.. working every other weekend for bout 6 hours per day. Got a fantastic hourly wage to do so!

Don't really need it but i want to pay some mistakes from my 20's off.. so figure since Football season is bout done and I have nothing to do on weekends but sit around bored.. might as well go make some extra cash.

Im working towards doing another Half Marathon in Nashville on Sat April 28th... Van Halen are in Nashville on the 27th.. so thinking of having one awesome fucking weekend and seeing Van Halen that friday Night, waking up and running the race the next morning!

Put in an application at 10:30pm got called yesterday at 10am by the HR director at the new Home Health agency! the other place also still has the other job posted as well.. Take my gas mileage.. I dare u!!!!! I told the boss yesterday that if the gas mileage goes, so do I. She said they are mainly targeting nursing who abuse their supplies and work 40 hours per week even when they just have 25 hours of work.. so we shall see. Took them over 6 months to fill my position and had i not came a long, they'd still be looking They make 150 dollars every visit i make.. I made 40 visits last week.... So I made them 6000 dollars in one week... Are they gonna lose that over a couple hundred a week? Surely they are smarter than that.

I have been considering switching jobs here lately, but I'm the type of person that fears change, cause in my life.. usually I fuck myself and end up in a worse situation.... Has anyone ever changed jobs and it turned out to be a great move?? Current situation: I do home health physical therapy.. Its great, don't get me wrong. I make my own schedule, drive from house to house... usually work bout 6 hours per day... but I drive anywhere from 80-100 miles and it gets tiring. Plus with Winter coming up, that def concerns me. To make a great check, I usually work 6 days per week. I got an offer potentially at a great PT facility. I would work Friday,Saturday,Sunday and I'd be off Mon-Thursday. I work 3 12 hours shifts, they pay u for 40 hours but its every weekend. I can make in the three days, what Im currently working 6 to make. Also, with the 4 days off.. I can PRN or temp work at countless other places a couple days if I want to make extra money or can have 4 days to be lazy or to go in and visit family/friends work on music etc. Sounds pretty easy when i read it to select the new job.. but I worry I'll switch and fucking hate it. So I don't know what to do.
