Curious how many people will remain masked on the flight.
Maybe 10% if that. I guess the pandemic is over (NYC just increased its covid alert level.)
Of course, we still have to stand in a 40 minute line then take our shoes off because some moron failed to blow up a plane 2 decades ago.

I was looking on amazon for a USB-B to USB-C cable for connecting some instruments to my computer, listed price from high to low just to see what the higher end cables were but wasn't expecting this....

Just went to the hair salon. 99% not wearing masks. The salon was packed with women and nobody had masks on. I went to the grocery store afterwards and about 70% had masks on. The difference was strange.
In fact, once I think about it, this is almost identical to what I witnessed the last time our mandate was lifted (hair cut, then to the store). I wonder why women in a salon would overwhelmingly not be wearing masks, but the grocery store was so different? Or if it didn't mean anything and there was zero psychology behind it.
Either way the young woman who cut my hair was friggin' beautiful, dear lord.
NYC is still pretty good for masks, almost everyone on public transport, in supermarkets/stores and also my students (teaching in person this semester after 2 years)
