Well, with Jackson the burden of proof wasn't met, but I'm convinced that he diddled little boys. So, yes. Polanski? Absolutely. Pee Wee? Didn't he just get caught "pulling" it in a movie theater? If so, he is ok. And I have no clue about Ferris Bueller??? I haven't seen the movie or know who stars in it.

Description: Magenta would be a new breed of windows based rootkit, which HBGary refers to as a multi-contex rootkit. Magenta is a 100% pure assembly language implemented rookit. The magenta rootkit body is injected into kernel memory via the DriverEntry() partial-load technique. Once loaded into kernel memory, Magenta would automatically identity an active process/thread context to inject itself into via an APC (Asynchronous Procedure Call). Once the APC fires in the new process, the body of the rootkit will be executed, Finally, At the completion of each APC activation, magenta will move itself to a new location in memory and automatically identify one of more new activation PROCESS/THREAD combinations to queue one or more additional activation APC's into.

When activated, the Magenta rootkit will be capable of searching for and executing imbedded command and control messages by finding them wherever they may exist in the physical memory on the compromised host- even if the host in question has full window firewalling enabled. The Magenta payoad will also contain imbedded capabilities for injecting these C&C payloads to be written to perform user-mode tasks on the compromised host.

THAT IS SOME SCARY FUCKING SHIT!

These fuckers were going after unions, journalists, and any orgs that didn't support their shit... and apparently with the support of the US Gov.
There are calls for congressional hearings, but I doubt that anything will be done.

A Message from Anonymous - 01/29/2011Hello, world.

You are now breathing manually.

Overthe last few weeks, North Africans have expressed an ardent desire forliberty, democracy, and justice for both themselves, and for the world. While most in the West responded with a mild interest and cynicism forwhich our culture has become rightly reviled, Anonymous responded withaction. Beginning with Tunisia and continuing on to Egypt, thousands ofworld citizens have dedicated their lives to securing the liberty ofothers, providing tools, expertise, and long-sought encouragement tothose who have already earned their rights by virtue of fighting forthem.

When Tunisians bristled in indignation at the chains thathave bound them for far too long, the world was silent. Anonymous wasnot; and thus the online venues of state propaganda were taken down andin some cases replaced with our own clear message that those who wantour help will get it.

When protests erupted upon the occasion ofone fruit vendor's bravery, the media ignored it. Anonymous did not,and thus Tunisians were provided with the Guide to Protecting the NorthAfrican Revolutions.

When Wikileaks confirmed the cruelty andcorruption of the Ben Ali regime, Western governments did nothing.Anonymous organized hundreds of Tunisians directly and thousands moreindirectly.

It was the Tunisian people themselves that overcamethe tyranny to which they had been subjected. They did so in thecontext of the digital reformation, with unprecedented assistanceprovided over a mere few weeks. Others will follow. Some have alreadybegun.

...

That the Egyptian regime has reacted to theyearning of its citizens by shutting down the nation's communicationsis the smoking gun that should tell the world that communications arethe key to liberty. That we live in the communications age should, andhas been, of great alarm to all who love their power more than theirpeople, or who consider themselves to be the only ones capable ofgoverning the world around them. That they have failed to provide anyreal security should remind all concerned that such people are not onlyunnecessary to true security, but a perpetual threat to same.

Anonymousis a machine that harnesses the talent that other, lesser institutionsoften fail to acknowledge or incorporate. Man is a creature that buildsinstitutions and thereafter loses his grip on them. Anonymous curesinstitutions that are dying and destroys institutions that ought tohave died long ago.

All significant human activity is the resultof human collaboration - including this very press release. And themeans by which humans may collaborate has exploded - not expanded, notincreased, but exploded - in such a way as to allow any man on earth totalk and work with any other man.

Such issues will be exploredsoon enough. In the meantime, we demand that all normal communicationsbe restored to the people of Egypt by January 29th, 12:00 midnight,Eastern Standard Time. That we have occasion to make such a demand inthe first place should be enough to convince all good men that theworld needs revolution. That we have made it in full view of all menshould be enough to convince them that we now have the means to back itup - not just against this regime, but against any and all parties thatcontinue to prop it up even after it has conceded that the truth is itsenemy.

We are Anonymous.

We do not Forgive.
We do not Forget.

Oh, BTW, HBGary is one of the top cyber security firms in the world... and look what a bunch of "30 year old losers living on government assistance" managed to accomplish. LULZ!!!! Probably, a billion dollar company will be, if not now, insolvent. I should add, FTR I don't condone, or participate in, any illegal activities; on the internet, or the real world. But, Anonymous has my moral support 100%.

First- there is no evidence that Manning leaked anything! Second- up the command to who... Obama??? He has already shown his campaign promises were nothing but a bunch of lies. The pledges of openness made during the campaign, and then reneging on those promises is the reason the he will be defeated '12. The Democratic Party, for some reason, thinks that the hard left will always vote for them. Wrong! Most of us will move back to green parties, or the socialists. Hell, fuck it! Will I give my vote to some Bush lite fucker in the hopes that some rethuglican fucktard won't be elected??? What is the fucking difference? There is none!

It is probably more that people are starting to notice the collective more. Hell, Operation Chanology has been ongoing for 3 years now with no sign of let up until the Co$ is defeated. As to it not being safe- committing federal crimes are never safe, but with a little diligence, that isn't really a concern. Too, the media coverage of late is great PR that only increases awareness of the issues that Anons fight. After the media picks up on an Anon success, visits to the chats and forums spike 10 fold. When Jett Travolta died, WWP was the first listing on Google for "Travolta".

What a crock of shit. A bunch of cowards using technology from thousands of miles away under the protection of anonymity comparing themselves as equal partners in regime change.

WTF!!?!! The Anon statement didn't compare themselves to the people on the ground, it merely stated ”When Tunisians bristled in indignation at the chains that have bound them for far too long, the world was silent. Anonymous was not; and thus the online venues of state propaganda were taken down and in some cases replaced with our own clear message that those who want our help will get it.” How in the fuck did you come up with the “equal partners” shit???

The people on the ground, risking their lives and well being are the ones who should be given praise if anyone out of this.

I couldn't agree more. And they were given praise, and the assistance of Anon is what crippled Egyptian internet infrastructure when the gov pulled the plug on the internet.

Not the 30 year old losers living on government assistance who congratulate one another on their self assessed high Iqs.

Shows what you know. Anon is a collective of all ages...in fact it was a 16 year old girl that gained access to Greg Hoglund's email which led eventually to root access to HBGary last week- that attack was very sophisticated, and it resulted in over76000 emails, the deletion of backup systems, and defacing HBGary's site with lulz aplenty.

What's funny is I read that about five of these fuckers got busted in England last week. I haven't paid much attention to it, but my guess is they won't be so tough when standing in front of a judge.

Those were a bunch amateurs firing lazers without any protection;hoping that the shear volume of the collective would prevent exposure??? Whatever they were thinking, they were ignorant stoopid fucks for participating in a direct action without knowing what the fuck they were doing.

I find it a bit disturbing that governments would go after a handful amateurs that did little damage while totally ignoring a much more sophisticated attack that was launched against Wiki leaks last Nov. But, I suppose that is because it was those same gov that launched that attack.

And now, the shit is about to hit the fan.

Two weeks ago, a scumbag(Aaron Barr) from HBGary released to the Financial Times that he had infiltrated Anon and had the names of its hierarchy- what a fucking idiot, there is no hierarchy! Anyway, in retaliation, Anon launched a sophisticated attack on HBGary and its parent. The effort captured all emails and proprietary information from the corporations, vandalized the website of the parent corp, and led to the emails being leaked last week.

It would've stopped there, but the HBGary CEO and COO came on an Anon Chat and begged Anon to stop the attack and limit the damage by not releasing anymore emails. They were quite contrite on the chat, but then renegged and that resulted in the release of another 27000 emails of the CEO that were very damaging.
The chat log can be found here( penny-the COO, and greg-the CEO sign in at 04:00). Its some funny shit.
http://pastebin.com/x69Akp5L

And this is where the shit hits the fan.

Another 27000 emails of greg were released last week, and they contained some very disturbing information.

A very prominent Washington law firm(Hunton and Williams)contracted HBGary on behalf of US Bank and the US Chamber of Commerce. This firm wanted to, and HBGary agreed to, conduct anon operation to discredit prominent journalists, activist organizations, and labor unions. US Bank was pissed that Wiki leaks is about to release some very damaging(and potentially criminal) documents; The Chamber of Commerce was pissed that unions supported Obama to get the health care bill passed. And they both wanted to go after journalists that supported their adversaries(read the links at the bottom). They were about to engage in some nasty shit that was probably felonious.

One of the fucked up things that the emails have revealed is that is was the Dept. of Justice that put Hunton and Williams in contact with HBGary. HBG has long ties to federal agancies including Dept. of Defence, NSA, CIA, DOJ, and some of the largest corporations in the country.

Something else that came out of the data dump is that HBGary had the code for STUXTNET- the virus that brought down the Iranian nuclear complexes last year. Anon release the STUXTNET virus today, but it is without the enabling key.

I have more to say, but I've got a coding error that I can't find in the rest of the post. I'll see if I can figure out what the fuck it is.

To: Broadcast Music, Incorporated

Greetings from Anonymous,

As you have no doubt gathered from various media outlets and our own information disseminated across the internet, we are an internet activist group independent of any and all national, political, or religious affiliations. Despite our differences, we are united in the preservation of intellectual freedom and fair copyright laws. Too long have the music and cinema industries, among others, abused copyright for their own gain. Legislation serves to protect artists not the companies managing them and should never attempt to prevent the spread of creativity to the general public.

We have seen BMI consistently copyright legislation and consequently have decided to take action against it to show that the people will not stand for its crimes against the public. As of the time of the writing of this letter BMI.com has been taken down by our successful attack. This is a message to you and other corporations like you, we cannot stand this abuse anymore. No company can take advantage of our liberties to churn profits and censor information in any form, this is unacceptable and will be dealt with accordingly by US.

We are not pirates, we are not loner hackers in our mother's basement, we are your neighbors, your co-workers, your family and your friends; we are omnipresent. We are Anonymous.

We do not forgive.

We do not forget.

You should have expected us.
