Yeah - fun game, but a lot of crap in there. Glad we came through it alright. We won't always get away with playing so sloppy.

Can't see anyone but Barcelona or possibly MCFC (if they have the bottle, which is debatable) getting the better of MUFC this year. Liverpool are looking like they might have another crappy year after all, though not as bad as Arsenal.

More sloppyness in the last two games. Basel had way too many chances against us tonight and we were lucky to get away with the 3-3 draw.
Still looking great going forwards, but poor on the back foot. Not controlling things in central midfield and the defence aren't gelling because we have a different line up each week. It's mostly down to injuries, but it's still pretty worrying.
I suppose we should be thankful that there aren't any other good teams in the Premier League this season and Europe's weak outside of Barca. Thought City losing to Bayern 2-0 was pretty funny.

Looks like he'll get a three-match ban at least. That'll see him miss the whole tournament then...

I was at that match. Fucking brutal.
Result really flattered City. We played worse than I'd ever seen us, and even then the worst it should've been is 3-1. We threw our toys out of the pram at the end - it was like if we were going to lose, we were determined to lose as badly as we could. Fergie summed it up: "Suicidal football."
That said, they really showed us up in the centre and hammered home how badly we need some quality central midfielders. The gulf in quality between the hapless Anderson and Fletcher and Silva was huge. He basically just walked through them and the defence and did whatever he wanted.

Wow Chelsea 3 - Arsenal 5. Crazy scores in the last few weeks, seems like defenses are taking the year off. Arsenal's already looked bad but CFC's was awful today and MUFC's looked terrible last week. Didn't watch the Everton came today.

Chelsea looked mainly awful today, Liverpool were average - good at times. Have to say I'm impressed how Arsenal have turned it around after the 8-2, other teams might have totally caved in. Player of the weekend was Micah Richards, he's having a great season.

Didn't see much of the weekend's football. United-Swansea was incredibly dull though. We really need to pick up some momentum again. We looked so youthful and vibrant at the start of the season, but have looked really tired for the last two months. City's heading into their first run of tough games and I think they'll drop points, so we need to be winning week in week out. But the way we're playing at the moment, I can't imagine us not dropping points as well. Still shakey at the back and sorely lacking in energy up front.
Arsenal will be fine as long as Van Persie doesn't get injured. He's been the best striker in the league for a few years now, but has struggled to put a long enough run of games together to really establish himself. His form at the end of last season was superb and he's on fire at the moment. Wish we had him!

Well, that was fucking depressing. I don't even know what channel the Europa League is on. Half of me doesn't even want to find out.
