Wow thanks for the info. I thought torrents were much safer in regards to uploading. I upload at the lowest amount possible and then stop seeding when I get what I want. Kinda dick, but I felt it left me a little safer. Guess not? I'll look at use net and check that out.

It is like playing Russian roulette. Is the thing that I am acquiring too old or obscure for someone to pay someone to actively monitor?

Here is one of the warning emails a friend of mine got after he torrented The Dark Knight the same week it was released on DVD.
