Definitely the most 'mythical' Soundgarden track. It was only performed once live in 1995. Was supposedly in contention for DOTU but has never been mentioned since.
Pretty much the equivalent of Axl busting out The General one night and no one hearing about it again.
Out of the songs SG fans want on the boxset, a studio version of this track is usually at the top of the list.

If there was ever a track unworthy of release, even as a B side, it's this. It isn't that its bad, it's just pointless. This is the second song in their discography of this stature, the other being One Minute of Silence.

Another mythical track. This apparently originated in the Superunknown era and was inspired by Johnny Cash. Not sure where this nugget of info came from, but its considered the "twin song" to another Soundgarden track in the vault called Ocean Fronts. Soundgarden never performed this, but Cornell whipped it out once at a concert and its never been mentioned again. Its interesting because its a slow song and as we all know, Soundgarden never seemed too keen on going down that road which is probably why it wasn't released.
I hope a studio version shows up on the box set.
So while its a solo performance by Cornell, the song is from the SG era but considering how the track sounds I would wager that had he released it then, like Seasons it would not have been released under the SG label or if so, would have been reworked.

Ben's first appearance on a Soundgarden track. This version was released in 1990 and is not the same as what appeared on Badmotorfinger. Was released on an extremely limited(5000) LP single. By the way, this is another dose of Telephantasm, to be deleted when it gets an official release.
Tomorrow's dose will be its B side.
