This really makes me angry and is also scary. At the very least they're going to invalidate Biden's election and at the worst they'll attempt a coup. Fuck them all in their ass, FUCK THEM. Absolute traitors to this country and our constitution. 

 

They won't attempt a coup. What does a coup even look like? McConnell isn't going to diminish the power of the senate which is what happens in coups.

Nah, there won't be a coup - they wanted to get within cheating distance and are now flailing. A serious coup would've unfolded already, they're just beclowning themselves as usual - making shit up as they go along to soothe Trump's ego....which could have major implications, but not a coup.

 

Seriously, what would a coup look like and more importantly how would it help McConnell?

If they were to attempt one, McConnell wouldn't be in on it, and it would fizzle before it started since the military isn't going to get involved, but I wouldn't put it past them to discuss the option.

 

The DCI's visit to McConnell could be because she is worried about Trump revealing classified information to our enemies. Trump will try to fuck up as much shit as he can before he's kicked out.

But the state electors aren't constitutionally the end of the story. The house or the senate can stop the vote count, which I imagine Pelosi would do in the case of that many faithless electors. Result - Pelosi is president until it's resolved. Also, no coup will be bloodless. Also trump as an idiot, throwing out idiot ideas to a rapidly decreasing circle of idiots. Biden will be president.

I was just pointing out that Trump floated the ideal which was promptly shot down by his advisers. Of course Biden will be president.
